Above you see the cover of the book: "Le Type H, le
cube utile" by Sabatès & Jansen. This is
a simple transformation. A standard H by Eligor is placed on two
yellow painted styrene beams, which were placed on top of a HP
from Eligor (it's the HP Maçonnerie). The pickup had to be
corrected here and there. The figure is a white metal Omen. I
had just to give the guy a cap and paint it into the right
colors.
The picture above can be found in the same book. It shows
various applications of the Type H. I chose to make the
"Brocante"-version. I made it all from scratch, apart from the
doors, which come from an Eligor.
The van above was spotted during Citromobile in Utrecht NL in
2004. I've used a Matchbox as base for this convertion.
This picture was taken on a market in Nyons,
France in 1997. It shows a HY Charcuterie. I made the same car,
but 43 times smaller using a Matchbox model. The butcher (an
Omen figure) is proudly standing next to his shop. I've made all
the meat and sausages using Milliput.
This is a scan from the book "Le Type H, le cube utile". It
shows a H Porte Voiture which was in use in Amsterdam. That is
to say: this is a prototype. The car was given a roof later on.
I've used an Eligor for my model.
I made the picture of the HY Camper during the
ICCCR in Interlaken CH in 2004. It was the inspiration to make
my own camper. I've used an H and a caravan, both made by
Matchbox. Did some sawing to make the two parts match.
